Alteration and Replacement Policy
Introduction
At GoldenGown, every apparel item is crafted with care, tailored to your specifications, and undergoes multiple quality checks to ensure a flawless experience. To ensure the perfect fit, we recommend referring to our size chart before placing an order. If you have any questions or specific customization needs, our team is happy to assist you. In the rare instance that your order does not meet your expectations, we offer a hassle-free replacement and complimentary alteration, subject to the terms below.
Terms of Policy

No Returns, Only Replacement and Alterations
- We do not offer returns. However, replacements and alterations are available under specified conditions.
- Seasonal Apparels are Not Eligible for Replacement and Alteration
- Seasonal apparels like Winter Scrub, Winter Hoodie are not eligible for replacement. These apparels are manufactured and sold for limited period, and hence cannot be resold.
- Seasonal apparels are made from specialized fabric to provide protection from weather. Reopening and restiching such fabric often introduces holes or tear in fabric. Hence we don't allow alteration of Seasonal apparels.
- Customized or Plus Size Apparels are Not Eligible for Replacement
- Any apparel with customizations is non-replaceable. Customizations include but are not limited
to:
- Logo and name embroidery.
- Custom color borders or highlights.
- Custom length like below hip, knee length, etc.
- Plus size apparels (apparels with sizes larger than XL) are non-replacable. These apparels are custom made on order for our customers, and hence cannot be resold. Plus size apparels include
- Apparels with size 2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL, 6XL, 7XL, 8XL, 9XL, 10XL, 11XL, 12XL, 13XL, 14XL, 15XL
- Any apparel which is not of XS, S, M, L, XL size
- Any apparel with customizations is non-replaceable. Customizations include but are not limited
to:

Replacement Policy for Non-Seasonal, Non-Customized, regular sized Apparel
- Non-seasonal and Non-customized apparel in sizes smaller than XL. can be replaced within 7 days of delivery.
- We do not have a courier pickup facility and items are to be sent back to us at the customer's cost. While sending back, actual courier charge will be appliable to customer.
- The apparel must be in unused, unworn, and unwashed condition, with all original tags and packaging intact.

Alteration Policy for Customized Apparel or Plus sized Apparels
- Customized apparel can be altered within 7 days of delivery.
- For alterations which need size adjustments bigger or smaller than one size, 200 rupees per garment alteration charges will be applicable.
- We do not have a courier pickup facility and items are to be sent back to us at the customer's cost. While sending back, actual courier charge will be appliable to customer.

Refund Policy for Non-Customized Bedsheets, NICU Bedsheets, Pillow Covers, Chadars, OT Gowns & Sheets, and Patient Dresses
- For non-customized Bedsheets, NICU Bedsheets, Pillow Covers, Chadars, OT Gowns & Sheets, and Patient Dresses, customers may request a refund within 7 days of delivery.
- To be eligible for a refund, the product must be unused, unwashed, and in its original condition, with all original packaging intact.
- Customers are required to send the products back to our workshop using any courier service of their choice. We do not provide a courier pickup facility. The cost of returning the products to our workshop shall be borne by the customer.
- Once the returned items are received and successfully pass our quality inspection, the refund will be processed. The following charges will be deducted from the refund amount, wherever applicable:
- COD handling charges
- Actual shipping/courier charges incurred by GoldenGown while dispatching the order
- Small cart fee or any similar order processing fee charged at the time of purchase
- GoldenGown reserves the right to reject refund requests if the returned products are found to be used, damaged, washed, altered, or not in their original condition.

Exemption from Replacement Fee (courier charges) in Case of Manufacturing Defects
- If the apparel has a verified manufacturing defect, the replacement fee (courier charges) will be waived.
- Manufacturing defects include:
- Apparel measurements differing by more than 2 cm from the provided size chart.
- Open or loose stitching.
- GoldenGown reserves the right to determine whether an issue qualifies as a manufacturing defect.
